Hi everybody.

After a long work, this is done : here is the baby.

Thanks to anyone who contributed to the beta test and gave impressions.
During all that time I did appreciate the positives reactions and comments about my map coming from a lot of persons.

As usual the map is accompanied with a txt file in which I mentionned that in additionnal credits.

Hope you'll enjoy it !

I haven't seen this map yet.

Enjoyable map with good attention to detail, I like it... Except I couldn't figure out how to leave the corridor and two rooms at the start, I still don't actually know how to do that - I didn't cheat to get out, I merely exploited my way out of the windows, seems to be the wrong way, so I managed to exploit a door instead which seemed to be where I had to go. I don't begrudge the map for this as it's probably my stupidi... erm... hayfever... as opposed to the map that is the issue here.

@High Treason, when all else fails, blow shit up! ;)

@At David, if you haven't already, make a read for the map in the user maps section of Duke4.net, those guys love HRP maps over there, and it's a much bigger community.
Wall whore.

@Micky
I'm not yet registered to this site (duke4.net) cause I came back to this game only 2 months ago.

It has been a long time since I didn't play D.N. and I was no longer active (2 months ago I didn't even know
the existence of Polymost and Polymer)... I'm an "old" "mapper".

I'll check this out, and post the map also there cause it seems to be a bigger community as you said.

If someone could pick up the reviewing duties it would be greatly appreciated.

Going in for lower back surgery today. Don't know how long it'll be until I can sit in front of the comp for any measurable length of time. If I don't come back at all it means I'm paralyzed from the waste down, can no longer enjoy porn, and therefore lost complete interest in the internet

Cool map, uniqueish design, took me 9 minutes and I found one secret.

Mister Sinister

It's a good map but what was the purpose of the red keycard? I didn't even find it. I beat the boss and then - the end.  ???

@Mister Sinister : Red card is a bonus, giving access to the shrinker.

Locked areas should not especially be all the time a part of the way to the end.  ;)

@MSandt : 9 min ??  :o You've completed the map in "9 min" ?!  :o
David B.

MSandt

Yeah, and I took my time to look around.

@MikoS - So you're moving fast.

Highland needs a 20 to 25 min to be completed : it has always been the time needed by me and other testers.
If this map really take less than 10 min for the other ones (moreover while taking the time to look around!) -  then I surely would have done better not to release it.

...So I hope it's not the case.

Most maps take around 10-15 minutes so your map is almost within that range. It's either a short medium-size map or a long small-size map.

Lol! The length is not a problem at all. Maybe there were too few enemies but I thought this was a choice: not every map needs to have the same "normal" quantity of enemies.

In come get some mode there are more than 75 ennemies to kill, it's longer.
I regret a little bit for having added too much facilities, clues... to find accesscard and the way... I 'm aware now this has shortened a little bit the gameplay.
