So I made a fresh folder.
Added: Duke3D.GRP , latest EDuke32 snapshot, Autoload folder with the latest duke3d_hrp.zip.
On startscreen ticked: Polymer, Enable Autoload folder.
But there's no polymer lights emitted?
Do I need to edit some .cfg or .def files maybe?
(Tried the "R_PR_lighting" command in the console too...)

Got a brand new rig with an:
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Socket-AM3+, 4.0GHz, 8-Core, 8MB L2 + 8MB L3 Cache CPU
XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 BLACK PCI-Express 3.0, "DD-Edition", GHOST 2.0, DL-DVI-I + SL-DVI-D, HDMI, 2xmini-DP GPU
16Gb's RAM
And this is how we realize the tragic price of wasting time
It doesn't make sense if we die
And we'll know in the end if we truly lived

Forge

you might have to use the eduke32.exe -forcegl parameter because of your video card
Take it down to the beach with a hammer and pound sand up your ass

Weird  ???
I found a fix.

I've opened "Settings.cfg" and added the command: r_pr_lighting = "1"
Now the dynamic lights works smooth as guacamole.
But when I re-open the settings.cfg file my added command has disappeared??

No big deal since the Polymer lights now are working but I find it strange anyway.
