New single player / Coop map for Duke.

The setting is a recently discovered ancient temple. Research and excavation are under way...until something goes terribly wrong!
All contact is lost with the research team and horrible noises can be heard through the radio! What should we do...SEND IN DUKE!!!

A big thanks to Duke64 for the testing.

Map should be up on steam workshop soon but a link is also below.

A refreshing map it is.
Nice message from EDF on the viewscreen btw  ;D

A couple of minor build bugs but all in all a solid and fun romp through.

Thanks for the feedback.  If you have time, let me know what bugs/issues you saw.  I am interested to know.

i'll give it a look tomorrow morning.

spent all this morning moving a pile of dirt & am too sore to sit in front of the comp right now.

You've put sprites (plants) on a horizontal sector and then sloped the sector I assume.
The sprites will then sort of float in the air. (or trapped inside the sloped sectors floor if you like)

Ah yes....this is the part where I say "I meant to do that" and "it is fancy Egyptian grass"....hmm, that second one sounds more like something one might smoke before playing Duke.
Nevertheless, the truth is that I did angle the ground and then added the grass in thinking it would be 'cool'.
After a while I sort of forgot about it...
But thanks for the info.  Will remember for next time.  ...Unless everyone really likes the amazing new Egyptian tall jungle grass!

Not bad! Had some crashing issues due to the included vocs though. http://msdn.duke4.net/hotjmwsp1.php

Edit: Also love the McFarlaneish look you gave this Spidey: http://www.jmwrightdesigns.t15.org/art/spiderman.JPG

The concept itself wasn't all that special, but it was a solid map.

I like the choice of sandstone over the typical grey/brown brick texturing. Some pretty intense and enjoyable fire-fights too.

Ah, yes that was a very Mcrfarlanish inspired drawing!

Thanks for checking it out.  Seems that everyone enjoyed it and most of the issues were small.  Appreciate all the comments and help from those who looked.  The biggest issues I found came when trying the map out on steam/megaton...there were a bunch of problems that do not happen when in eduke.  Next time around I need to test in megaton first.  But lesson learned.
Steam version is out there and has a few modified spots.  http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=337955180    Thanks again!
