Bitter words mean little to me. Autumn winds will blow right through me
And someday in the mist of time, when they asked me if I knew you
I'd smile and say you were a friend of mine, and the sadness would be lifted from my eyes
Oh when I'm old and wise

Go Ducks...go!!
oh good grief. you and Mikko... ::)

i'd rather see san jose or st. louis from the western conference go to the cup game
i know the Rangers aren't going to get very far

when all those teams fall on their ass i always pick the canadian teams (with one exception)

vancouver vs. ottawa or montreal (i can't stand toronto)

all the seeds are filled in the NHL, but there's still some hockey to play to determine the final order
2012-2013 Standings (these are in order of my preference, not the current seed they hold)

Eastern Conference:

New York Rangers
Montréal Canadiens
Ottawa Senators
Boston Bruins
Washington Capitals
Pittsburgh Penguins
New York Islanders
Toronto Maple Leafs

Western Conference:

San Jose Sharks
St. Louis Blues
Vancouver Canucks
Anaheim Ducks
Minnesota Wild
Los Angeles Kings
Chicago Blackhawks
Detroit Red Wings

Chicago leads Minnesota 1-0 predictable
Anaheim tied Detroit 1-1 hate Detroit -pick it up and crush them Anaheim
San Jose leads Vancouver 1-0 surprising
St. Lois leads L.A. 2-0 predictable

Pittsburgh leads NY Islanders 1-0 predictable
Ottawa leads Montreal 1-0 kinda surprising, but that's okay by me
Washington leads NY Rangers 1-0 predictable but disappointing
Boston leads Toronto 1-0 predictable

It's no surprise SJ is leading their series. The Canucks peaked two years ago.

true that Sj has bested Vancouver this year, but i figured Van was the stronger team when it came to playoffs

#39
Chicago won series Minnesota 4-1 predictable
Anaheim tied Detroit 3-3 going to game 7
San Jose won series Vancouver 4-0 wow. even though sj destroyed van during the season-still thought van would win this match up
L.A. won series St. Lois  4-2 didn't expect that

Pittsburgh leads NY Islanders 3-2 predictable
Ottawa won series Montreal 4-1 thought montreal probably would win this one, definitely didn't expect ottawa winning it in 5
Washington leads NY Rangers 3-2 thought this would have been won in 5 by washington
Boston leads Toronto 3-2 predictable

Chicago vs. Detroit
L.A. vs. San Jose
Pittsburgh vs. Ottawa
Boston vs. New York R

think the best match up this round is L.A. vs. San Jose. should be pretty exciting
Chicago, Pittsburgh, & Boston should have their opponents outmatched, but they play the game for a reason

so it's down to Chicago vs. Boston for the Stanley cup.

meh. flip a coin. they're both won a cup within the last few years so there's no real "underdog" in that respect. Chicago is favored to win and they probably will.

Well that's what they said about Pittsburgh and the Bruins completely neutered them.

wouldn't hurt my feelings if Boston won. My brother is a Blackhawks fan and i could rub it in his face that his team choked

a bit late, but game six was unreal. 2 goals in 17 seconds during the closing minutes of the game.
Chicago wins the series 4-2 over Boston
most of the games seemed pretty close with several going into overtime.
