Some info:

This is an individual map release but it also comes with an episode mod that features all three Turok Nukem maps in an episode as one. I was hoping that the map could be featured alone to line up with the other two. I don't know sorry for the confusion.

Though I have took 3 years to produce this Turok 3 map 90% of the map was made about a year or 2 years ago. I recently picked it back up finished the gameplay and put it together. So this map was actually pretty much done before I released 'Haunted Nukem'. I have done a lot more mapping since this but this map was a huge part in my growth as a mapper for any game.

All important info about the maps creation can be found in the text files there is one specific for each map also. Thanks hope you enjoy feels good to let this one fly out the nest.


CGS review/download

Well M.o.M had inspired me to do interviews like this Puritan and I definitely had to put this here for you and CGS. This one is with Levelord. I thought somebody might like to see this He is Mapper of the Month, I know we don't do that anymore like that but we can make exceptions okay. Levelord = M.o.M for October 2016

[Dukenstein]

I have changed the header for this since they all go together. For those of you familiar with DN64 you may know of the dm only maps made just for it. I will do the DN64 dm maps formed into single players just for the enjoyment. There is 4 dm maps in DN64 one of them is already a cut out from babe land from episode 4 "Piracy" So I most likely wont be doing that one But "Dukenstein" "Noctis Labyrinthus" and "Shaft" I will be doing

Dukenstein:
Duke must return to the "Castle Dukenstein" to retrieve some left behind documents from DN64. The map is a parody of Wolfenstein and now I have added a single player to it plus not to mention added some of my own works to it. I assure you it will be worth it to give it a run.

Noctis Labyrinthus:
Duke there is plant life showing on Mars in the Noctis Labyrinthus, you must return. Things have changed since your last visit and plant life is showing that there could be Aliens there. They must have known you have been there before and in waiting your return they adapted and multiplied. You know what to do....

Shaft: Revisited:Continue the story after paying a revisit to Dukenstein and Noctis Duke must now see where and how all the aliens were able to populate so much in the Noctis Labyrinthus. Duke is soon to find out and discover an underground shaft beneath the Noctis Labyrinthus it's time to put an end to this.

CGS - review/download

Well if you did not know yet we have a steam account here for CGS, specifically for posting DM maps to the workshop. This way I am able to check them out for a possible review plus adding some good maps for people to enjoy.The reason why it is dm maps is because there are already trusty guys posting alot of SP maps no need to end up getting tangled with posting the same map. We had 4 maps posted before today but 4 more have been posted today.

I make this post for a few reasons.
1. So everyone can view the maps
2. So it's easy to keep track of what is being added
3. In case an author/mapper wishes to have his map removed they are able to see if there map has been added. Easily just say so and kaboom it will vanish trust me no problem doing, that would take 2 seconds.
4. If a map is already posted to workshop and you know it please tell me as it's hard to keep up with so many

This is just another small step to get some more quality on the workshop 

Do we do highest rated map of the year if there was a tie you could just put both or something? or Best episode of the year/ best mod of the year ? I think it could be enjoyed and would push people to do more episodes like Duke Hard that was a great project. Just a suggestion towards more things that could be done I already enjoy mapper of the month though not mapper of the year though that's to weird to choose Is like the end of the year awards

Hiya I bring you Turok 2 this map was mostly inspired by the level "Catacombs" in Turok Dinosaur Hunter on the N64. As I mentioned before each map will have it's own type of game play and wont be repetitive.
Story: Duke continues his journey right where he left off in Turok 1. Now Duke must find his way inside of Turok's sacred temple, beware the temple and it's surroundings have been said to be heavily guarded by monsters since the disappearance of Turok. This wont be a walk in the park, luckily Duke is heavily strapped and ready for action. "It's Time to make tracks"

Be sure to use the custom sounds especially the ambience related ones or you will be in for some annoying ambience sounds maybe you want to just create an "autoload" folder up to you but I highly suggest it

Story It's Halloween and there have been reports of evil souls and demonic figures killing anyone in there path and making them join there army of darkness.
Heavens hero or Hell's janitor Daniel Garner can't be found, word has been released that he is possessed to stay into a deep slumber forever.
There is only one person with the balls of steel to go to the demonic cemetery where it all began and find his tomb for an awakening.
Mr. Nukem has been contacted and when asked if he could do the job his only reply was "i see dead people".
Only the Painkiller possesses the weapon to collect there souls and put them back in there place.... HELL !
Mission: Awaken the Painkiller Daniel Garner by exploding his coffin in the underground tomb this will free his spirit.

CGS - review/download

Here I will post the most recent DM maps I have played and reviewed. That way if the map is already posted to the site and isn't featured on recently posted you can still see the review for it here without trying to find out which ones have got a review now,  that didn't have one before. Not only that but to stay updated with what DM maps get reviewed. You can just check here

Hi everyone I will be reviewing some DM maps. To ensure the fairness of the site we have decided to go with a 5 star rating method for dm maps. That way we can save the /100 scale for all the hard work put into the making of sp maps, and avoid the dm maps being rated the same and competing with sp scores.

I have played so many Duke matches in my time so I am able to define what makes a good DM map. Of course I am an individual with my own opinions but also I tend to be a global thinker when it comes to DM. I think there's many things that could make a good DM but what it boils down to is these 4 notes.

Gameplay/Design: Which will define many aspects such as the layout, spawn points, routes , camping spots, over powered areas, and the flow of the way it plays. Also the experience it brings fun or bad.

Weapons/Ammo/Pickups: Everything that you pick up and how balanced were they placed. Were there to many not enough all of that good stuff.

Atmosphere: This will cover what kind of vibe the map gives off to players, atmosphere does play a part of what you are playing even in a DM you like to feel that you have some kind of theme.

Detail: Yes, detail is important. I say this because just because it's a dm map the small details like light shading, texture alignment, and small details to give a small presence shouldn't be overlooked. For example instead of a plain blank table why not add a pc on top of it or something in that manner. I'm not saying go all out and put hardcore detail, I just want to see that minor detail was at least applied enough to make it feel right. A big block shaped dm with no detail at all is boring and lame in this generation.

In doing this I hope to encourage more people to make DM maps or at the least encourage the ones that do make them to make more. I'm quite new to writing complete reviews for maps so bare with me guys, I'm sure i will get better at the organization and wording as I do more.
