Classic Duke 3D / [Release] HEALTH

"HEALTH"

This map is prequel to all DN Episodes.
Duke is about to complete his training to join the elite EDF unit and he is offered his final test.
You are given a 100 health and a 100 pieces of ammo: 50 shotgun, 20 RPG, 10 pipebombs and 30 shrinker.
Duke must survive this test using his wits and skills only, no easy way around it. Difficulty setting are not implemented in a traditonal way.
Instead, you are given a choice between two doors: LADY and MAN.
LADY gives player some help in form of a portable medkit, armor and boots and some health scattered around the level.
MAN gives player nothing: only you, your guns, 100 HP and 60 aliens to kill.
Use your ammo wisely and avoid fights if necessary.

PROMODE: Complete the level without using saves
ULTRA-PROMODE: Complete the level without using saves and never get hit.

This map was made in a couple of days and was beta tested by me only. If you find any bugs, please report in this thread. Have fun!

Classic Duke 3D / [RELEASE] Naked Dash

Duke had been capture yet again! This time things are looking real bad: aliens took Nukem to their base and put him in prison cell, but that isn't even the worst part.
Our hero must survive a venture through the "Naked Dash": a surreal office complex built by aliens for entertainment purposes and filled with deadly traps and puzzles.
Will Duke be able to make it through this doomed office fortress which took lives of many men before him? [color="#008000"]More importantly, will you help him escape?[/color]

General Info:
This map was finished in approximately 7 or 8 weeks; it doesn't have difficulty settings and it also almost exceeded Mapster wall limit (around 70 spare walls left).
It is best to go blindfolded, but if you just hate fun or something:
One of the gimmicks of this map is a secret ending. In order to get it you have to find secret places scattered across the complex.

Classic Duke 3D / [RELEASE] Close Range

I present you "Close Range": a disjointed mess of a space level made in two weeks while being extra stressed by educational system.
The level was built from a blueprint I made sometime in March. It combines bits and pieces of different ideas I had back then, yet the main focus are laser tripboms.
I mean, do you actually use these things? Well here you'll get plenty to use.

Don't pick Come Get Some unless you are good at high speed maneuvering in close quarters.
No additional beta-testers were involved. Please report any bugs you found!
Also this is the first space level I have actually finished.

Classic Duke 3D / [RELEASE] Sludge Plunge

Sludge Plunge is a map set in swamp area. I can't remember many swamp maps in Duke so here's one.
You'll be travelling through swamps, caves, small towns and etc. Exciting stuff!
Also there are lots of secret places, but there is one Super Secret I challenge you to find!

It's been quite a long time since I've released anything for Duke Nukem 3D and the time has finally come

Did you guys ever wondered what would happen if alien invaders took the whole "Kill Duke Capture Earth" just a bit more seriously? I for sure did.
That's partially the reason why I a brand new episode called Death Drive.

So what exactly is DEATH DRIVE?
DEATH DRIVE is a 5-level action packed episode taking a lot of inspiration from classic L.A. Meltdown levels and a more recent release Metropolitan Mayhem yet with a twist of my own style and challenging fights of my own map "Slaughterfest".
Basically it's a huge battle from the very beginning till the very end if played on the intended difficulty setting. What makes it a bit different from the rest is the fact that every single map of this episode was made less then in 20 hours each.
I tried my very best to make them visually good and fun to play. It's up for you to judge whether I've accomplished my goal or not.

Even though I did make this episode very hard I know that there are worse players than me so that's why I think you should read this:

- If you want your usual DN3D experience (Let's Rock difficulty setting) pick the easiest one available.

- If you want to be challenged but not too much pick the normal difficulty setting.

- If you really want some extra challenge which is comparible to Doom's Ultra-Violence pick "GET PSYCHED!". Beware: there is one basic principle which is "be fast and efficient or be killed".


Also please note that I did not involve additional betatesters so there may be bugs I don't know about. As far as I know the only annoying thing is that shrinkray sometimes have difficulties shrinking Octabrains due to bug in EDuke.

Render Mode: Polymost
Difficulty: GET PSYCHED! (intended experience)

   

Please report any found bugs!

I would also like to ask somebody to upload this on Steam Workshop and test it for Megaton Edition.

Classic Duke 3D / [Release] Slaughterfest

This map is very hard. The name says it all - it's filled with all sorts of monsters.
You start without any weapons.
I recommend you to play on Do It! (Come Get Some) difficulty to fully experience what I was trying to do.

Save your ammo!

Classic Duke 3D / [RELEASE] Locked Up

So hello there, Community.  ;)

Are you tired of monsters and shooting? Do you like solving illogical puzzles? Have you ever decoded a Morse message in a DN3D user map?
Well beware! I have something just for you.

This is my new puzzle-based map with no monsters at all. You are locked at some small railway station and in order to get out you need to solve a bunch of puzzles. And that's all. No storyline, no monsters, just puzzles.

* Pay attention to everything

* Explore - there are a few hidden clues and locks

* Get yourself a piece of paper and a pen - you might need one

* These are code lockers



Prepare to be frustrated and pissed off.  <_<

Classic Duke 3D / [release] Grey Lights

Since I posted this on D4N, I should post it here. My new map - Grey Lights.

A few tips:

* Don't go through that big tunnel until you find enough supplies

* If you noticed a brown "A" letter - it means that there's a hidden area nearby.

* Recommended difficulty: Come Get Some
