interesting that Tx mentioned that he was going to nuke a bunch of unused accounts at Duke4, but you had no objections with that

Another they/us matter... I didnt know that nor I care about it. I´m sure TX has other people to point him the path to the light.

You´re expecting people to care too much about how much they frequent a forum or not. People go where the chat is, if they go to duke4.net it´s because there´s more people to talk with. And in any case, if they can reactivate their account, as you just said, what´s the meaning of deleting their account? Not that it improves anything.

EDIT: The only impression it leaves me is of hostility to those that, being able to come help raising this site´s popularity, prefer to go to another forum where they´re not needed. Personally I think this site has a quite stubborn feel, and that you´re going beyond your tasks playing this role. But that´s my paranoic mind, I check these forums often and chip-in to participate when what´s being discussed is of my interest. But I don´t think there´s a they and us at all. What´s left of Duke forums has no identity whatsoever, the only two active forums are very young (duke4.net since 2009 and here since 2011?). AMC, DNR and 3DR were sites in which you´d find idiosincracy and factions. Nobody cares anymore about that.

That´s like... a terrible idea, but whatever floats your boat. You never know when certain person may want to get back to duke and dustoff their old account. It´d be quite stupid to private them of the chance to say "hey guys, what´s up". People like Willam Gee, DT, Norvak and maybe others wouldn´t be able to come back even if they wanted.

Architecture is top notch but lighting is too bright and flat. I´d not do a remake of a so young map. Base it losely on it, but don´t feel restrained by the original as I think you made good progress in layouts since then.
