A five map episode
The aliens have taken over the city and Duke must eliminate the threat.
Making his way through town he must enter the subway station, and from the subway system of tunnels and terminals Duke has to enter into a sewage processing plant.
From there he needs to navigate his way back to the surface level where he must fight his way through a military base styled mining facility.
The tunnels of the mine lead into an underground alien base where Duke must collect supplies to face down the leader of the invasion force in a battle arena.
Medium sized maps with basic layouts.
The texturing, detailing, and shading are well done.
Sprite work is minimal and there's some decent architectural work.
The atmosphere is of an abandoned city and it's surrounding areas with minimally destroyed sections and a sense of abandoned emptiness.
Game play is very even. The distribution of ammunition, health, and weapons are on par with the types and numbers of enemies encountered.
Enemy placement was well done and usually consisted of small groups of mixed aliens. Mostly pig cops and troopers, or pig cops and enforcers.
There are a few more enemy combatants for some variation and a couple of explosion traps to watch out for.
The theme is based on finding keys or switches to unlock doors and a few button puzzles to solve.
Sprite Work/Detailing: 8/10
