A medium sized space station. The first part is pretty linear with minimal alien contact until a hub area is reached. Then the key hunt begins as the alien resistance dramatically increases.
Not much in the way of puzzles or any extending exploration. Game play is the straight forward killing everything in your way until you find the exit. Plenty of weapons and ammo to help you out, but health kits are found sporadically so it can be a slight challenge. Navigation is easy as most of the layout is in a straight path, with only a few dead end spurs jutting off a hub.
The architecture as well as the trimwork are very well done, there's some grand spritework and structures located in the hub area, and detailing is provided in the right amount, but some of the areas could have used a wider variety of textures. Some spots were a bit dulled due to the redundancy, and some of the textures used are a bit questionable to fitting the space station theme. The ambience really could have benefited from more suitable sound effects and stronger shading in some of the more open areas. The hallways are the strong areas of the map, while the larger rooms seemed to be washed out. Still, this station, while not completely unique, deviates from most of the other space station maps out there since it avoids the stereotypical alien or sanitized white metal themes.
