Starting in an industrial complex and ending in an alien base, Duke must destroy an enemy spawning machine to stop an invasion of Earth before it's too late.
Great looking map with solid architecture and trimming, strong lighting/shading, good texture combos, and sparse, but adequate detailing.
The map flows smoothly with a floor plan that loops around on itself to avoid an unnecessary amount of back tracking. The only downside is the transition from the space craft launchpad to the alien stronghold which breaks the momentum of the game. While creative and interesting, the "flight" took a little too long, so the player is sitting in the cabin of the ship with nothing to do but look at a slowly rising gauge.
There's a good mix of aliens and enough resources to handle the job while staying healthy, but there are a couple instances of having to fight rocket launching commanders in confined corridors they may cause some frustration if you're slow to dodge and duck.
