A canyon EDF base.
Generally the map is well constructed with good architecture, spritework, detailing, and lighting effects. But then comes the shading. I can understand making places dark and gloomy for ambiance, but when half the map is almost pitch black it becomes annoying. It's hard to find passages, see wall cracks, fight aliens, and see the key lock located at ankle height. Of course no night vision goggles are provided or they are extremely well hidden. Even if a set were given to the player, they'd run out well before getting half way through the base.

Game play consists pretty much of navigating a linear path from start to finish while killing aliens.
Noting the issues above, especially the deficiency of NVG's, and factoring in the lack of healing items, well good luck to you. It's doable, but only if one has the patience to tolerate it.

Texturing/Lighting-Shading: 6/10
Sprite Work/Detailing: 8/10
Ambiance: 6/10
Architecture: 18/20
Layout: 16/20
Gameplay/Design: 23/30
Overall: 77/100
