Duke was watching some TV when the aliens decided to drop by for a visit.
The map is mainly a small city street with a subway station and a few small businesses to explore.
The aliens have made a mess and the place is trashed; there are flipped and burning cars out in the street, holes blown into everything, walls partially collapsed, and debris scattered everywhere.
The map is well constructed and detailed with prominent spritework and numerous architectural constructions for scenery.
The downside is that many of the indoor areas are very cramped and all that extra architecture to make the eye candy results in a very short map.
The atmosphere is well done; being very dark and gloomy with strong lighting and shading contrasts.
The ambiance is enhanced with good texture combos, sounds and noises, and a background beyond the playing boundaries to give some depth.
The layout is hub styled where the street is the central location and areas around its circumference are explored in series.
The map itself is rather small so it should take no time to explore and get to the finish.

Game play is a key card hunt.
Find the first unlocked shop, get the key, and you're off and running. One key is hidden, but the tools required to get it are readily available at the location. Since most of the indoor areas are only a couple rooms deep at most, it isn't difficult to figure out where it is or how to get it.
Alien encounters follow a pretty basic pattern; kill the ones in the immediate vicinity, enter the location, deal with the new baddies coming to investigate the commotion.
The supplied weapons are mainly the standard bullet type, but the number of aliens is minimal and the ammo supply is abundant.
The amount of healing items is quite numerous, so take your time and enjoy the scenery as you brush alien splat off your shirt sleeve.
