You're being held hostage in a resort hotel located on a tropical island. The object is to make your way through the hotel, engage a barricade (unsure why), and reach the exit to win your freedom.

A medium sized map with a simple layout. It's well detailed and there's some nice architecture work, especially in the outdoor terrace area. Good texturing and sprite work, but there's serious gaps in the shading. Good ambiance, there's many unique rooms, such as the lobby, kitchen, dining room, and bar, that give it a feel for being in a tourist type hotel. The outdoor area was very tropical and the waterfall in the distance was a nice touch.

Game play wasn't too challenging except that health was pretty rare. You start with no weapons but can find the basic three through exploration as well as a few trip mines. Ammo was spread around the map pretty evenly except that there was a bit too much available for the shotgun. The enemies were well placed in most cases and consisted mainly of pig cops and troopers with a few protector drones and enforcers tossed in.

As mentioned earlier, the layout is pretty basic and having to back track through the same corridors two or three times, even with newly spawned enemy, was detrimental to game play enjoyment.

Note: There's only one yellow key card. When you open the door from the terrace to the dining room it unlocks the other door too. I almost gave up trying to finish this map because I searched the hotel top to bottom a couple of times trying to find the "other" yellow card. About the time I was ready to quit I happened to be by the second yellow card locked door and decided to give it a try and found it unlocked.

One bug I found: I somehow managed to activate the elevator switch from the bottom (by the bar) which saved me one trip of having to go all the way back to the beginning. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

A good play with plenty of details. I recommend this for anyone who likes interior office/hotel building maps.
