An EDF styled base.
Most of it is pretty dark and gloomy, and with the old steel and stone texturing, it gives the impression of old and dingy.
Construction wise it's very solid with good architecture and trimwork. Lifts and ramps give some vertical navigation and provide the impression of wandering in deeper and deeper into the facility even though the path is really just one long linear loop.
There are some ambient sounds and lighting effects, but more could have been implemented to give a wider variety to the atmosphere.

Game play is mainly navigating from point A to point B to throw a switch then backtracking to get to the exit.
Since the floorplan is quite linear it's not too difficult to get around, but once that last self-destruct switch is thrown it can be confusing on where to go to get out of the base. Following the respawns is about the only clue unless the player remembers the location of the only locked door they haven't passed through yet.
Combat is decently balanced, and supplies are thinly distributed along the path, but it's pretty standard and predictable.
