================================================================================= THIS LEVEL IS NEITHER MADE BY OR SUPPORTED BY 3D REALMS. I WISH IT WERE THOUGH:) Title : Duke, the Infiltrator Filename : mission1.map Author : Daniel "Shambler" Ewald E-mail : webmaster@shamblers.findhere.com Web Page : The Cave of the Shambler, http://shamblers.findhere.com Misc. Author Info : Addicted to Duke, art, HardtranceMania and chatting Other Levels : My room(room.map, very fun and detailed level), St. Duke's Hospital(hospital.map, my first map, lacks detail, but is very playable), Sitting in space (sitting.map, my third and the next best so far. Good detail, few errors, nice effects and very hard) Description : You've just been called by the Ministre of Justice with an important mission for the goverment. Spies report an alien hideout in an old nuclear waste disposal facility. With their kidnapping and sacrificing rituals the aliens are starting to be a pain in the Gov's behind. Your job is to find and infiltrate the aliens' Altar of sacrifice within the facility, well hidden, and stay clear of guards and nuclear waste which has melted down most of the facility. You arm yourself with your faithful Soccomb 9mm and crawl into the facility through the old ventilation system. Good luck, Duke! Show those alien bastards who's boss! -An overall quite large level, with many tight and action- filled areas. Many enemies and not so much ammo demands a skilled player to solve the shooting. However, there are many secret bonuses to be found throughout the level, so keep looking. Atomic Health can be found almost in every "new" part of the level. -Features results of hours with correct-tiling and detail- making, there's plenty to look at! Look for nice light and shadow effects! I've been active on the ambient sound part on this map too. Nuclear atmosphere! Be sure to fetch the red keycard in the guard's tower...and a couple of boots! Use those pipebombs wisely! And watch out for Commanders! Additional Credits To : -3D Realms; for this great game and editor(takes some time to learn it, though! About a sector per day:) Known Bugs/Problems : -Many sector overlaps can sometimes result in an enemy disappearing and turning up elsewhere.
