This is the authors first published map but it seems that it has been sitting on his HD for a month since "Nukem Towers" seems to be finished earlier than "Jail Break"......ah well, never mind.
The map is very dark and gloomy so be sure to play in a dark environment.
As the title indicates; it's a prison map. Duke must break out of his holding cell and find a way outta there.
Design is quite good but the layout may be a little confusing since Duke has to crawl through quite a lot of vents. Expect some backtracking.
The texturing, lighting and shading is well done for a map from 1997. The same goes for trimming.
Weapons are in various places; some in plain sight while others are hidden or semi-hidden.
Ammo are quite scarce here and there and a tip; locate and save the heavier arsenal for a rainy day...
A fun map that might consume some 20 minutes to pass. Take a gander !
