Duke is checking in at a hotel in Los Angeles this time around. A hotel with some strange looking staff...
This map is amazingly well designed considering it's age and the fact that it's made out of ver 1,3 textures only. The level could easily have been released this year without anybody lifting an eyebrow.
Texturing, shading, lighting, ambiance, trimming and layout is very well done.
There are three reasons why this map haven't been cranked further up on the ratings:
1. The weapon / ammo / health ratio is way out of scale.
2. With a good story / gameplay it would have been marvelous.
3. The ending
But it is a fun level and clearly worth some ten minutes of your time!
