This map is too good to be left in oblivion!
Some times when I dust off my pile of DN3D maps I stumble across quite good maps. This is one of 'em.
A city styled map it is. Duke starts out in his appartment building: From the lobby some familiar grunts can be heard...Damn, those ugly aliens are back in town!
From there it is a chase of aliens and keycards to unlock new areas of the city. A couple of the cards can be tricky to find though....the author left some hints in the template. Also at one instance there seems to be a bug in the map. Won't spoil much when I tell you to save the game when you've entered an abandonned bar. You are supposed to jump onto a wooden chest to unveil a secret passage. If it doesn't work you must cheat ( hit DNCLIP in-game to move through the wall behind the chest).
Design is from the upper shelves back in the days with lovely shading / lighting. Texturing is well taken care of too. The new art adds nicely to the look.
You will be rewarded with heavier weapons along the way and the ammo / healing items are well balanced.
Well worth some 25 minutes I'd say.
