An alien base on the surface of a distant planet.
The map contains the usual control rooms and odd reactor styled locations, but has a neat docking area for small craft. It's solidly constructed with good architecture, is well detailed, and makes good use of texture and color combinations.
Navigation is mostly linear, but there are a few branches where a button puzzle is used to open a new area or a key is acquired for another section of the map. Some of the forks loop back to earlier sections of the level while paths require a little back tracking. There is a button puzzle in the docking area that can be by-passed with a little creative acrobatics. Also of note; it's supposed to be a distant alien planet so what are pigcops doing there? Clearly they don't belong in this environment.

Game play is mostly button puzzles with a couple key cards thrown in.
The layout is fairly simple so getting turned around or knowing where to go next doesn't present any major challenges.
Combat on the other hand is annoying at best. The usual method of engagement involves being surrounded on all sides by enemies that unsuspectedly spawn, or more often than not, just having them pop up behind your back so they can take a cheap shot.
Weapons are collected in a progressive nature, but supplies are poorly placed and distributed. Several times health paks will be located right in the middle of the path and are difficult to avoid if the player isn't ready to collect them yet. Ammunition is a bit scarce towards the beginning of the level, but is doled out in huge deposits towards the end along with several atomic health which severely reduces the challenge of the fire fights during the last leg of the map.
