An alien base secreted away in mine shafts.
The level is a mix of EDF high tech base, alien high tech base, rock walls, cliffs, caverns, and lava rivers. A very nice mix of environments and well put together.
The layout is a winding maze of passages and it's quite easy to get turned around; especially in the underground lava tunnels and ventilation shafts.
Game play is pretty much an exploration piece where the player must explore multiple forks and paths in order to find switches to unlock a couple doors.
There are all kinds of nooks and crannies as well as several side passages, so it's quite easy to get confused. It seems like you're getting nowhere then before you know it you're sitting in front of the exit.
The alien to supply ratio is pretty tight and the action is constant.
Back tracking isn't really necessary for the most part, but if you decide you want to, you won't be alone.
