A city block map.
Other than the lack of good trimwork and detailing, this map is pretty solid. It has nice shading and some pretty decent architecture. The only real bad parts are the ones that are pitch black and hard to navigate around in.
The layout is basically one long linear path that takes the player through multiple buildings, rooftops, and other urban type environments. There is a design flaw and with one good jump the player can bypass about ninety percent of the map.

Game play is a key card hunt.
It's a pretty typical go explore the deepest bowels of the buildings to find a key, then return to the lock.
The nice part is the big loop the floorplan makes. The player starts next to the lock and ends next to the lock. The difficulty is survival. If the player fails to find any of the secret stashes of supplies then they're screwed. There's almost no health or ammunition along the path to complete the level, and even if the player manages to survive that ordeal they definitely won't have enough of anything to kill the boss at the end.

Texturing/Lighting-Shading: 9/10
Sprite Work/Detailing: 7/10
Ambiance: 8/10
Architecture: 18/20
