O'Boy

A medium sized rural map.
Style alternates between high tech base and urban offices and apartments. This is pretty much a walk forward and shoot until you reach the end styled map. Most of the action takes place in corridors and small rooms with a few outdoor areas to mix things up.
And while the map is basically a point A to point B linear design, there are a few twists in the floor plan via use of vents to take you away from and back to the main path of travel.

The map is well designed; the architecture may be a bit simple and the detailing sparse, but the strong shading and good trimwork are enough to give the map some depth and ambiance.

Game play is mainly about killing everything in your path with a few locks and keys thrown in as speed bumps.
Healthkits can be a bit stingy, but there's loads of ammunition and a nice variety to the arsenal to handle the several different types of aliens to be encountered.

Texturing/Lighting-Shading:9/10
Sprite Work/Detailing:8/10
