Duke is on a flight to nowhere; the aliens have taken over the plane and Duke must fight his way to the exit and "parachute" out.
A small map with a simple layout and design. There's minimal sprite work and not much architecture. The cabin and seating areas of the plane look rather dull and blocky; there's barely any shading and the texturing choice for that area provides little in the way of a decent ambiance. It pretty much felt like walking down a tube full of boxes. The majority of the work went into the exterior of the plane which looks terrific, and with the partial cloud cover, good shading, and lightning effects; the outside has a nice atmosphere.

Game play is fairly easy in regards to navigating the map, as its layout is pretty linear, but difficult as far as the combat is concerned.
There's a good amount of ammunition and a decent weapon selection, but there's very little room to move about inside the plane so combat is pretty much a toe-to-toe slug out. This isn't really the problem, the lack of adequate amounts of health is what creates the difficulties.
Once outside the plane, the large numbers and strong enemies awaiting you on the top of the plane without any available health can takes its toll.
The theme is to explore about a bit to find the keys which will let Duke get off the plane while killing stacks of enemies.
For those that like their key finding easy and their gun fights numerous.
