Holy cow, what a cool map this turned out to be!
I can't explain why I didn't stumble upon this map back in the DNR days. But I dusted off a pile of oldies today when this level took me by surprise. Anyways, here it is.
The beginning looks quite newbie but that is probably because of the odd yellow texturing. The map is far from newbie; actually it's close to a masterpiece considering it was made back in July 1998.
The base is located mostly below the ground. The environments resembles of a mining facility with some industrial constructions in between. And it's god damned well built for sure.
I wont give too much away when I say; "The tower of commanders" are one of the most enjoyable endings I've encountered in an old map.
The only downside would be the overwelming amounts of ammo and healing items scattered about.
I'll guarantee you a fun and entertaining level. Don't miss it!
