Despite its name half the map setting is an Earth urban environment with a mini-mall section and a waste treatment plant.
The map does begin in an EDF space station styled base, but there's not much action until the second portion of that section is reached. Aesthetically it's hit and miss; the shading and lighting effects are good, but a lot of it looks flat because the architecture is pretty blocky and areas seem under detailed and lack trimming. Quite a few rooms are also pretty cramped and the free-standing sprite work also hinders movement. Luckily there are minimal encounters in these locations or it would be a serious problem.

Combat is a bit skewed and unbalanced due to the placement of the supplies in relation to the enemy engagements.
The player is given a huge lump of equipment at the start of the map, and other than a few scatterings of items, this must last pretty much the entire map. The aliens are encountered in small hordes that guard primary locations holding keys and switches and it's not easy keeping up hit points when having to engage a room full of stayput enemies laying down a withering barrage of fire at the player.
