A key card hunt in a partially destroyed section of a city.
There are plenty of collapsed and partially ruined structures to set the scene. Strong shading and new art along with ambient sounds enhance the atmosphere.
The architecture is a bit blocky in spots, but good detailing and trimwork in addition to heavy spritework and sprite constructions make up for this.

Surviving can be challenging, but not overly difficult.
A few groups of aliens are clustered together which creates several large combat sequences that may be deadly if blundered into. There are also a few virtually unavoidable explosions, and with little available health, you may find yourself getting chipped away down to a dangerous level.
There's an adequate arsenal and plenty of ammo to handle the threat if you can avoid be shot up.
