A canyon forest map.
The player starts out in a narrow canyon, moves into a dense forest full of monstrous trees and bushes which makes moving around very difficult, then mysteriously the player is teleported into a small apartment complex which seriously breaks the general atmosphere of the level, then just as mysteriously is teleported back to an open canyon sparsely dotted with trees and scrub.
The indoor sequence really makes no sense and no explanation is forthcoming as to the how or why of it.
Construction is very basic, blocky and squared off with some odd texture choices such as the first forest's borders which are simply empty black walls.
The indoor locations are also pretty simplistic in their design and for the most part are plainly decorated with clusters of objects that make several of the rooms rather cramped.
The map is mostly linear with a few instances of searching around to find a switch, or some minor hallway crawling while walking back and forth between rooms.

Game play is two linear bursts of point A to point B divided by a short key card hunt.
The key card hunt is very basic and consists of unlocking a room, getting a key, and then moving down to the next room.
The two forest scenarios are where the challenge in game play occurs.
There's only a pistol and shotgun available to fight with, and barely any ammunition is provided for either. Additionally only a minute amount of healing items are to be found and they're placed very far apart.
Raging hordes of aliens are hiding in the forests and their buddies pop up behind your back when you least expect them. There simply aren't enough bullets or healing paks supplied to be able to stand and fight so the level is basically a run for the finish line hoping your hit points hold out.
